That is NOT a retraction by the news channel: it's really simple to understand if you read the words on the page. *continued: not dismissed *not to have more than 5 pets *not allowed to conduct any "rescues" charges may be refiled if conditions are broken. Now, it seems to me that the DA in this county would be interested in knowing that you are once again in the "rescue" business, and that you are soliciting donations and claiming to be a 501c3. hmmmm Oh, yeah, I didn't see any cleverness either. I was being sarcastic.

Mercy Me- 07-14-2008

Whether or not you struck a deal, I don't know. I KNOW the case won't be retired. I KNOW that you were supposed to stop doing "rescue" for the period of one year, yet you show on your site that you adopted out 57 animals during said year.

I believe it was a check up period of one year and to NEVER operate a rescue again, wasn't it? And now there are all of us loverly WITNESSES to the plea for *help*.....

RockNAcres- 07-15-2008

the case was "retired" or continued for a year. Attorney Trey McFarlin also stated the charges will eventually be dismissed and expunged. Court records show Ford and Watson were ordered to close down the animal shelter, but the lawyer says this order is not permanent. I believe it was a check up period of one year and to NEVER operate a rescue again, wasn't it? And now there are all of us loverly WITNESSES to the plea for *help*.....

Ok, I am not a lawyer but seems to me what matters is what the judge says not what the lawyer says. You still haven't answered any of the questions asked. Stephanie

The case Never went in front of the judge. And what did you want to know? Ok, I am not a lawyer but seems to me what matters is what the judge says not what the lawyer says. You still haven't answered any of the questions asked. Stephanie

So are you saying you are a: 1) Fully licensed rescue? 2) Have the backing of your local law enforcement who calls you for help/advice and placement of neglected horses? 3) Provide financial backers an opportunity to visit your rescue facility to see where the financial contribution is being used? 4) Have the 501c3 status 5) Records and pictures to document the horse conditions upon your rescue and after your care? 6) Who called you to rescue this horse and will charges be filed by your county? How about start with these questions? Stephanie

lol...they now added sad music to his page...they just don't give up do they? I feel terrible for poor Whiskey and really hope they are getting him the care he so needs...but they are such crocks. I really personally dislike their attitude with everyone. Everyone here's first concern was the horse....THEY wanted money and then to pick fights about themselves and court and such. Who cares about them ....they need to get the horse it's care and be able to support it's needs....otherwise they should have called in a rescue that could support the costs. End of Story...sorry if you guys don't like the truth...but there it is...don't come on here and try to pity party another rescue .....if you truly wanted their help you'd write them an email and ask if they knew of something you could do....NOT GO ASKING FOR CASH. Horse Haven is full of wonderful people who would do a lot to help a horse in need in TN......but people like you make me sick......I'll pray for Whiskey and hope he gets better.....and for you for all the ...well, you should know your own sins.

Mercy Me- 07-15-2008

But you never shut down that year, you have even have it on your website that you've adopted out animals for that year. That is such blatant disregard of the rules.

Geeze, I go away on vacation for nine days and I miss all the fun!! :-D After having read this entire thread (all three pages of it) I still don't see any questions being answered..... *grabs some popcorn and sits back to watch the rest of the show*

Updated pics will be posted later tonight. Thank you Www.Rnapetrescue.com

I've been watching the conversations back and forth on this post. I cannot understand how anyone that would rescue a horse in the shape this poor horse is in would not take pics every other day to keep a log of its progress. Since you see the horse everyday (supposedly) how can you see even the sligh-*test*-('") progress? If you are using this horse for shamming the public, aren't you ashamed or even embarrassed? Why would you even continue posting in this thread? I thought Bubba was the worst case I've seen...

mom2bbjandag- 07-17-2008

I don't know this group, or this person, so I went to the web site myself. I see lots of "before" photos, but no "after"... what happens to these animals? I too would like to see the questions answered specifically. I haven't yet checked with PetFinder, but if this group is elgit then they're probably on that web site too... I'm trying to find answers, maybe I'll e-mail PetFinder for info they have and get some straight answers from them.

How much later? I don't see any new pictures, as of yet.

Mercy Me- 07-17-2008

I noticed she took down sixteen of the horses "Before" pictures.
