Would it be SO difficult to just give them away to somebody who could care for them instead of letting them starve to death? I just don't understand what people like this are thinking!

Why is his name so familiar? You know someone would have helped him find homes.

He was on the news this past week, blaming the drought for the animals' condition. If he hadn't have been so danged greedy and GAVE them away......

Putnam County Man Pleads Guilty To Animal Cruelty Posted: July 2, 2008 07:46 AM EDT COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - A Putnam County man who allowed his horses to starve to death has pleaded guilty to animal cruelty. John Huddleston was sentenced to probation and 200 hours of community service at an animal shelter. He also has to donate $ 500 to the animal shelter. Back in April 2008, investigators discovered a pile of dead animals in a pasture and more than a dozen others being kept in inhumane conditions. Huddleston told deputies he couldn't afford to feed the animals.
